Standard range: Typically, its Brinell hardness value (HBW) reaches 400, and the surface hardness range is generally 360-450 HBW. The hardness range of domestically produced NM400 is usually 360-420. 

Hardness performance in practical applications: In some typical equipment in the building materials industry, such as the lining plate and hammer head of the crusher, the hardness of NM400 wear-resistant steel can effectively resist the impact and wear of materials. For example, when processing ore materials with higher hardness, their higher hardness can reduce the wear on the lining surface and extend the service life of the lining. 

For pipelines transporting materials, the hardness of NM400 wear-resistant steel can maintain good shape and dimensional stability of the inner wall under the friction of the material, reduce the wear and thinning of the inner wall of the pipeline, and lower the risk of pipeline leakage.
