Can wear-resistant steel be bent 90 degrees?
Wear resistant steel can be bent 90 degrees. According to the Chinese standard GBT24186-2022, D=6A. For wear-resistant steel plates larger than 4MM, a tool with a bending head diameter of 6 times the thickness can be used for bending. Taking 6MM as an example, use a pressure head with a diameter of not less than 36MM for bending, and do not use pointed tools for bending.
In addition, wear-resistant steel has high strength. Taking NM400 as an example, its tensile Rm strength is about 1100MPA, so it should be processed using strong machinery.
